The amount can vary. AFWERX releases 2 types of solicitations depending on the time of the year:

(A) Open topics (open front door) solicitations have a $50K maximum on Phase 1, and $750k maximum on a Phase 2. Direct-to-Phase 2 solicitations can offer up to $1.25M.

(B) Special topics (specific requirement) solicitations can range from $50K to $150K for Phase 1 and up to $1.25M for Direct-to-Phase 2.
